Peshawar Property News & Guides

Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has a property market shaped by planned townships built by the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA). Hayatabad, on the city's western edge, is the most established of these, with seven phases and the western terminus of the TransPeshawar bus line. Regi Model Town, another PDA scheme, is more affordable but parts of it have long-running possession disputes. DHA Peshawar, on Nasir Bagh Road, is the main newer gated scheme.

Buyers range from families upgrading within the city to government employees, business owners and overseas Pakistanis from the region investing at home. Renters tend to look in established areas close to hospitals, universities and main roads, while plot buyers weigh the newer schemes against the higher prices of developed townships.

Before buying, confirm which body holds the record: PDA for its townships, DHA for DHA Peshawar, or the revenue department for other land. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's e-Fard portal now lets owners obtain QR-verifiable copies of land records after NADRA biometric checks. Visit the plot, match the seller's CNIC to the record, and in disputed areas confirm possession on the ground before paying.
